Massage is one of the most basic, natural forms of healing. As a child you quickly learn that if you hurt yourself you should rub it better. The sense of touch can sooth pain by distracting the nerves in the painful area whilst the massage itself can loosen tight muscles and help the body to heal itself.

Massage can be used for a variety of reasons; whether you are simply looking for some relaxation and pampering or you wish to treat a particular muscular problem, there is a massage to suit all.

The Treatment
Traditional Swedish Style Massage -
This can be done on any area of the body. Oils or moisturiser are used to aid massage and relaxation. Pressure is applied to the muscles to soothe out knots and warm the area.
Treatment time - dependant on areas to be massaged.

Stress Relief Massage -
Focussed primarily on the back and shoulders, this is designed to help you unwind and release the tension held in these areas.
Treatment time - 30 mins

Indian Head Massage -
This is a traditional style of massage that is done on your shoulders, neck, face and scalp. As oils are used it is advisable to not have this treatment directly before going out as you will have the residue oils in your hair. For maximum skin and scalp benefits the oils should be left on overnight.
Treatment Time - 25 mins
